What a weekend!

This will be short- we crash landed early this morning- got some serious blogging to do for this one…

Long story short, Mary learned a valuable lesson about leading a race- I’ll leave it for her to tell. She finished second, with about 225 miles of singletrack under her belt. Todd, and Brad from World Bicycle Relief know how to dig deep & make it to the podium.

Matt, Emily, Carrie, Dan, Scott & Denise all rule. We couldn’t have pulled it off without y’all.

Our bikes were a hit. The Song rules. Cane Creek, if you’re listening- we’re gonna need some more shocks pretty soon.

I really like Tucson. Hope to be back soon!

  1. Congrats on what sounds like a successful weekend. Got a photo of the Song SS from a spectator that was there. Grainy, but looks great.

Again, congrats to you, Mary, and the rest of the gang.

  2. Strong finish Mary! I was worked silly after 5 laps.
Thanks again for the T. I will return the favor. It was really nice to see the Siren folks for a couple of days.

  3. I had a great time in the Siren pit area, although I was unable to race, the weekend was still a blast. Thanks for letting me poach some of Mary’s campsite.

GT, I don’t think that I have a good pic of your ssong (too tall for me), but I’ll check when I get home.

great weekend guys, and Mary was awesome

  4. yeah – what a horrible lesson to learn. It’s so much easier to be the dog on someone’s heels than to be the one running from the competition. I guess I need to aim for the guys when I get out front of the girls. That would have helped!

Thanks for all your amazing help out there!
